Gear pump operation and maintenance1. Start-up: (1) Check the tightness of all pipeline flanges and joints before start-up. (2) The rotary coupling has no friction and collision sound. (3) When the pump is started for the first time, the conveying liquid should be injected into it. (4) Before starting, fully open the valves in the suction and discharge pipelines, and it is forbidden to close the valves to start. (5) After verifying the rotation direction of the motor, start the motor. 2. Stop: (1) Turn off the motor. (2) Close the inlet and outlet valves of the pump.
